The pre-event get-together provided an opportunity to get know some of the other boxers before the big day. There certainly was a lot of exchanging at the Brewhaus on Friday night! Also some special traveling boxes and, if you knew the right thing to say, several personal travelers and an important hitchhiker.
I'm not sure WHAT the serving staff thought we were doing, but they were very accomodating with setting up tables, separate checks, etc. We finally let them cleanup as we headed for some rest before Saturday...
